Privacy policy
This policy explains what happens to information when you browse offers.mechcoders.com or open one of the Hostinger links on it.

Who runs this site
MechCoders operates offers.mechcoders.com. It is an independent page, not a Hostinger website. For any privacy question or request, email hello@mechcoders.com.
You do not need an account to read this site, and it never asks you for your name, email, address or payment details.
Our own analytics
We keep a small record of page views and of clicks on the Hostinger links, stored on our own server. A record can contain the time, the page or plan path, a broad device category (mobile, tablet or desktop), the hostname of the site you arrived from, and campaign tags if the link you used carried any.
That database deliberately does not store raw IP addresses, full referring URLs, full browser user-agent strings, names or payment details. If this recording fails, the site carries on working normally.
Google Analytics
This site also uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use it. Google receives information about your visit, such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and which site referred you. Google acts as our processor for this measurement, and it sets its own cookies to recognise returning browsers.
We have configured Google Consent Mode. For visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, analytics and advertising storage start in a denied state, so Google cookies are not written until a consent tool records your choice. Elsewhere the defaults are granted and you can still block or clear cookies in your browser.
You can opt out of Google Analytics in any browser with Google's opt-out add-on, and read how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
Cookies used here
These are the cookies this site can set:
rl_sid— a random ID with no personal meaning, used only to estimate how many separate visitors there were. It lasts up to 30 days. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, we count the visit but do not set this cookie at all.rl_admin— a sign-in session cookie that only exists for the site administrator on the/adminpages. Ordinary visitors never receive it.- Google Analytics cookies (names beginning
_ga) — set by Google, subject to the consent state described above. - Google advertising cookies — set by Google and its approved partners when ads are served, subject to your consent choice.
Blocking or clearing any of these does not stop you reading the site or opening a plan link.
How long things are kept
Records in our own analytics are deleted once they are older than 13 months. That clean-up runs as new events arrive, so if the site receives no new visits for a while, the deletion simply happens the next time it does. The visitor cookie expires on its own after 30 days unless you remove it sooner.
Separately, our hosting provider keeps its own access and security logs, which can include IP addresses, under its own settings and retention periods. The admin area stores one administrator email address and a password hash, and records sign-in attempts so the owner can tell whether the site is being attacked. Each record holds the time, whether it succeeded, the email address that was typed into the form, and a one-way hash of the address it came from - never the address itself. Records older than 90 days are removed during occasional cleanup triggered by new sign-in attempts. They can remain longer when no cleanup is triggered. This applies to the private /admin sign-in form only; ordinary public-page visits are not recorded in the sign-in audit.
If the administrator requests a password reset, we use the address entered to look up the account and, when it matches, send a short-lived reset link through our email provider. The link is valid for 30 minutes and becomes invalid once the password changes. Requests are rate limited; the address used for that limit is stored as a one-way key rather than plain text.
Google applies its own retention settings to Analytics data, configured in our Analytics property.
Hostinger links and checkout
Buttons that scroll to the plans section stay on this site. Outbound plan buttons and copy-link icons use a short address on this site. When you open one of those links, we count the click and redirect you to Hostinger with a referral code attached. From that point Hostinger is in control: its cart, its account creation, its payment handling and its own privacy practices. MechCoders may receive a reward if an eligible purchase is completed, at no extra cost to you.
Read Hostinger's privacy policy before entering any information there.
Advertising
This site loads Google AdSense ad units, marked as advertising and kept separate from the Hostinger plan links. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads based on your visits to this site and other websites. Google's advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to do this. Other approved ad networks may also serve ads if enabled in our AdSense account.
Where consent is legally required, a Google-certified consent message asks for your choice. You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google ad controls, and learn how Google uses information from partner sites.
Our advertising disclosure describes the current status in more detail.
Messages you send us
There is no contact form on this site. If you email MechCoders, we receive the address and the message you send so that we can reply. Our email provider stores those messages under its own systems and retention settings.
Your choices and requests
You can clear or block cookies in your browser, turn on Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track so we stop setting the visitor cookie, and use Google's opt-out add-on for Analytics.
To ask what is held in connection with your visit, or to ask for it to be deleted, email hello@mechcoders.com. Because the visitor ID is random and not linked to your identity, we may need you to send us the ID from your browser before we can find a specific record.
Changes to this policy
We update this page whenever the site's analytics, advertising or hosting arrangements change, and the date at the top always shows when it last changed.
